Okay, so it wasn't exactly Ivory's idea to throw a small party on New Years. It was /completely/ Lance's. She never understood how he could love being around people for so long. Lance of course invited Cale and Zane over, since he obviously enjoyed Cale's company, and she enjoyed Zane's... a lot more than she was going to admit, but that was neither here nor there. She contacted Spyders and suggested he come if he 'could behave around Zane', and without hesitance, Spyders agreed completely and fully. He even seemed a little eager about it. Though, he decided to bring some of his 'friends' along as well, dear old Dameien and Ren. Dameien seemed slightly intrigued to go, but something came up at 'work' that he needed to attend to. By attending to, it probably meant someone was going to offer him enough rent money for the next year for doing something for them, leaving Ren to show up alone.

The second Cale heard that Spyders was going to be in the same room as Zane, he noped out. He was exhausted from the day's events anyways. Sorry, Lance, but you'll have to get along without him. Zane was hesitant on the matter, but if Spyders would behave...well, alright.

Ren was a bit huffy on the matter, mostly because, well, socializing alone, but they showed up anyways, in a lace-like green dress and hooded overshirt. It wasn't as if they were required to make friends, after all. They had no idea why Spyders had invited him. They barely even knew him except through Louhkie. Probably because they came with the Dameien package. Well, guess what, fuck you Spyders, that's what.

Ivory exited her room. Ahhh. People. Okay, it was people she knew...accept for the person in the dress? So it wasn't that bad. Well, it looked like Zane had shown up first. She was about to move to greeted him, but suddenly Spyders snuck up behind her and hugged her. "Hello dear." He spoke with a smile.

It was easy to tell when this flashback happened. Everyone could point it out. Lance guided Ivory up the stairs to Terezi's apartment. Terezi had been missing for a month now, and now they all would start joining together to find her.

When they got to the door, Ivory stopped. So. Many. Vampires. That she could sense. She looked at Lance. "I don't think I can do this yet. There's too many people."

Lance smiled at her. "It's okay. I'm not going to rush you. Do you wanna wait out here?"

She nodded.

"Okay then. I won't be long, I promise." He let go of her hand before slipping inside the apartment.

She sat down on the ground beside it, resting her head on the back of the wall.

About an hour passed before someone opened the door. Lance? No. A much taller sapphire haired male stepped out of the room. "I'll be back, I just need a few minutes." He called to the others inside the home before shutting the door behind him.

He took a few steps before noticing her, and almost did a double take. "Oh. Hello." He greeted.

"Hi." Small talk was something she was horrible at.

"You're...Lance's friend? Aren't you? The one who I saw in the the shop that one time."

"Mhmm."

"Hmmm, seems a bit lonely to be sitting out here. Why aren't you inside?" he sat down next to her.

"I just...don't like people that much."

"Yeah, people can suck sometimes." He stared at her for a moment. "I'm sorry, but what is your name? I didn't catch it."

"Ivory." Was he really interested in talking to her? At least he looked like it. "And...you are?"

"Ivory. Such a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. Et vous ressembles tellement elle aussi." He then realized he was speaking in French. "Ah. Pardon me. I forgot you don't know French. My name is Spyders."

Was this the Spyders everyone spoke badly about? He seemed like a nice guy.

Zane was greeted with, of all things, Spyders apparently being decent to other people for once, even if only he could see it. He stopped and tensed as he moved towards Ivory, first at the flashback, then as he realized Spyders was hugging her. ...um. He couldn't tell at first whether she approved of this or not. If not, though, he was fully prepared to pull him off. Did this count as 'behaving'?

There was a short flashback of his own, also of more recent events. Just of Spyders drugging him at the cabin. That had been a hazy experience to say the least, but fortunately he'd woken up first, wondering if he'd done any good at all by becoming involved in the situation.

She stood still for a moment. Neither accepting now rejecting the hug. "Okay. You can let go now." She spoke after a seconds calmly. She didn't sound pissed or desperate. Just. Nothing. He let go of her immediately. She then started to move towards him. "Hello. Sorry about that." She smiled, looking up at him.
