He looked down at his hands. No, not really. His tongue kind of hurt, but... Was she still up for a hug? He needed one right now. He raised a hand, wiped at the tears running down her face, and then pulled her back towards him, still not saying anything.

She gasped in slight surprise. He was hugging her? He wanted this. Yes! Yes! She needed this too. Without any thinking she hugged him back tightly, a small smile spreading across her face.

He closed his eyes. So he was a vampire now. What would he do about that? What would change? He couldn't play guitar on the street during the day anymore....but his shift would be fine. Wait. If she was here, then.... "....did you...turn me?"
