I reached to grab them again, but felt something tug on me from behind. I turned and saw that Seculus had moved to the other side of the couch and had a grip on the back of my shirt. His expression was completely desolate. ".....please stop yelling......" he asked very quietly. "...it won't...help....." ....... I sighed and sat down next to him. He hugged me tightly and buried his face in my shoulder. I hugged him back, but still watched Satan carefully. If they do /anything/ out of line to him...

He would've been nervous, but the silence and their eyes left him eerily calm. Something in the back of his mind reminded him that this was how Seculus had reacted too, but that was far dulled by the instinctive trust he had for this person. Of course, he was already very trusting by nature, so there wasn't much he could or wanted to do.
