"But even Aphrodite herself was at least somewhat homosexual, so I don't see what the problem is?"
2015-06-15 22:01:03 -
🌀
"Aphrodite her--? That's an entirely different problem." And there he went, after Terezi. ...thanks.
2015-06-15 22:02:32 -
●
"What? Why is Aphrodite a problem? She wasn't a promiscuous as Zeus was."
Terezi headed to the stairs and towards the roof. Yes, it was dark enough out. No, she wasn't heading back until that conversation was completely over.
2015-06-15 22:05:28 -
🌀
"Promiscuity doesn't matter so much as the fact that they aren't real."
Tassek followed after her and up the stairs. "Wait up. I'm not staying with them."
2015-06-15 22:15:01 -
●
"..But they are."
She stopped and turned. "Yeah, that conversation was...going somewhere I didn't want to even think about around them."
2015-06-15 22:19:42 -
🌀
"They aren't. There's only one God."
"Ha, yeah, it kind of....uh. But hey, we can finally get some alone time."
2015-06-15 22:25:05 -
●
"No? There's multiple."
"Mhmm. Something we both need."
2015-06-15 22:25:38 -
🌀
"Well, there's the Trinity, the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, but they're all aspects of the same Lord."
He held the door to the roof open for her.
2015-06-15 22:29:37 -
●
"...You mean Zeus and all his illegitimate children?"
She stepped out side, the cold night air hitting her as she stepped out.
2015-06-15 22:31:29 -
🌀
"No, not at all. Those are idols created by the Greeks. Created being the key word. As in 'made up'."
He shivered a little and closed the door behind them, sitting against it.
2015-06-15 22:37:10 -
●
"But they weren't created. They are real. Just Europe has different names for them."
"Cold?" She asked. Well, it was cloudy tonight. Maybe it'd snow tonight?
2015-06-15 22:39:31 -
🌀
"If they were just the same idols under different names in Europe, then there would be the same amount. They're separate religions, but the difference is the Greek gods were invented to give personality to aspects of nature. God isn't split up like that, and doesn't require sacrifices to have a relationship with his followers."
"Nah, I'm good. It's really quiet up here. Kind of nice."
2015-06-15 22:45:35 -
●
"One person should not do the work of many alone. That is overbearing, and would become overwhelming after some time. They would need help eventually. As for sacrifices, I do not know of any Gods who has wanted any."
"You're telling me." She sat down next to him. "Peace and quiet is something we'd have to kill for to get around here. :Literally."
2015-06-15 22:50:41 -
🌀
"He's omniscient and omnipresent though, so it isn't at all a challenge for Him. And of course, He has us for help when He needs it."
"As much as I'd like to, let's not. I could always just buy us earplugs."
2015-06-15 22:58:09 -
●
"That sounds impossible. Completely impossible."
"Yes, but will that really solve the issue?"
2015-06-15 23:00:54 -
🌀
"Nothing is impossible with God. That's the point."
"Hey, we'd get quiet at least. Maybe not peace, but close enough."
2015-06-15 23:02:57 -
●
" So him being multiple is not impossible?" She countered.
"Hmmm, maybe when this is all over we can go somewhere alone. Just the two of us."
2015-06-15 23:05:04 -
🌀
"Well, the nature of His being can't change, because He's eternal."
He grinned. "That sounds great. Paintball?"
2015-06-15 23:06:32 -
●
"So is Zeus and Hera. And many of the other Gods and Goddesses out there."
"Mmm, maybe." She rested her head on his shoulder. Snow started to fall down. At first it was just two little flakes, then it came down quickly.
2015-06-15 23:08:21 -
🌀
"But they were born, God always existed."
He caught one on his hand and grinned. About time. Then he leaned into her, placing his head on top of hers.
2015-06-15 23:13:15 -
●
"That's where Khaos comes from. "
A small smile spread across her face as the snow came down. "You know, when I left. I never once stopped thinking about you."
2015-06-15 23:15:41 -
🌀
"Khoas? What's that?"
"I didn't either. Um, about you, not me."
2015-06-16 03:21:08 -
●
"Khaos is the primeval state of existence from which the first gods appeared. "
She chuckled. "I figured you'd just...move on without me. At least I told myself that to make me feel better about leaving."
2015-06-16 03:25:07 -
🌀
"Well, that's the point. He didn't just 'appear', and has no origin, He always was."
"I could never do that. Literally everyone I know I know thanks to you, anyway, so that'd be too much like starting over. And I don't want to have wasted the few months we had."
2015-06-16 03:28:37 -
●
"Yes. Just like Khaos."
"I didn't either, but I thought it was the best thing to do at the time. To just....go...and make sure they only knew of me."
