"I guess we'll see about that. Here, we can just check now." I pulled her back to her feet and over to the balcony, past the oak desk and display of swords.

I peered over the edge. ....that's a long way down. "Want to give it a shot?"

"Why not." She held out her hands, and started to freeze the balcony, slowing climbing onto a platform that formed.

I would've let out my wings, but I didn't know if I could actually do that here or not, and I didn't want to tear my clothes. Grabbing her hand again, I carefully stepped out onto the ice, trying not to slip again. This would be the worst possible place for that.

Slowly but surely, she made her way towards her balcony, and eventually made her way there. "See? That wasn't so bad." She stepped into her own room.

I tried not to lift my feet while we traveled, and pulled myself over onto the balcony as quickly as I could. "...I think I'll just take the hallway back."

"Alright, that might be a bit more slippery." The walls and doors were covered in a thin layer of the same 'ice' that remained on her side of the castle. In fact, it looked like the ice slightly touched the floors.
