Seculus was curled up under a tree, and Madison was leaning against the gates, examining the new gold thread in the leather handwrap on his axe. He looked up when she appeared. "I missed you. It's been, what, a whole ten minutes?"

"Ten minutes and 30 seconds now." She answered. Finally not so stressed looking from their previous adventure. "You ready to head back to the castle?"

He slowly pushed himself to his feet, went up behind her, and took her hand. I caught up and grabbed her other one.

The walk's always a long one, but with no one chasing us and an idea of where we were going, it felt a little shorter this time. Soon we were back at the castle, with most of the guards somehow alive and the garden in one piece, if partially frozen. Looks like Lucinda hasn't wrought /complete/ destruction yet.

No yelling from Bill. This is already a good sign. Seculus pulled her towards the throne room, and we paused in the doorway. The floor was covered in glass and ice, and a hammer sat on the ground in front of the broken box. ....is this how Thantos got him out?
