Ren slipped through a hole in the back of the castle wall after returning from the guild. They knew the place better than the owners did, mostly exploring it so they could surprise Ivory in different ways. They found a staircase leading down to the dungeon, but it was sealed up with ice. They pulled a small bomb out of their satchel, flicked the fuse, and tossed it at the ice, skittering backwards and plugging their ears.

"Or what?" She gripped his shoulders and small bits of ice began to form on them. "You'll freeze me?"

"I'll suffocate you until you either kiss me to breathe or die." The ice only added shards to the edges of his cloak, serving to make him look more menacing. There was a dulled thud some ways away.

They tumbled to the ground, knocked over by the force. The explosive had been stronger than they'd expected, blowing a hole in the wall as well as the ice. Once the smoke cleared, they ran downstairs to the cell.

She heard the dull thud. "Not if I suffocate you first." She slammed him against that wall and smashed her lips onto his.

He was surprise, but not upset, and kissed her back, biting her lip.

They stumbled down through the dust and felt for the lock, pulling out their lockpick. "You're in there, right?"

She bit back lightly, pulled up her dress a bit to lift herself up, and wrapped her legs around his waist.

"....Ren?" A female's voice called from her cell. Yes. She was. Where could she go?

He leaned back against the wall, and feathered black wings burst out through his cloak, wrapping around her.

"Uh, yeah." Good. Weird, though. They hadn't talked to her for ages. The lock clicked open and they swung the door out, hesitantly handing her the gun off their belt. "Shoot /only/ the environment. No people."

She wrapped her arms around his shoulder's, fingers running through his hair. Ivory opened her mouth.

"Dammit, I was hop-" She looked at the gun. "You do know this type of gun is meant to be really loud, right?"

He slid his tongue into her mouth. His breath was so cold, his tongue nearly froze to her teeth.

"...no? I didn't build it! Your first shot's gonna have to count, then, before he catches us."

Her warm breath caused slight condensation in the air around them. Her fingers managed to entangle themselves around his cape.

"Then we better do it outside, and a good distance from here. Where did you come in from?"

He began pulling up her shirt over her back, twisting his head to kiss her harder.

"This way." They ran back up the stairs and towards the hole in the outside wall.

Her fingers reached slowly for his cloak clasp, fiddling with it slowly, teasing him. Then stopped completely once she got it off him. "You want it?" She got off him and started to move away. "/Come get it./"

She followed closely behind, shivering slightly and almost tripping several times.

He frowned and raised his hand, another wall of ice keeping her from going any further.

They were tempted to help her for a second, but then they remembered who she was and continued outside.

She backed up into the wall, facing him. She placed the cape around her shoulders, the clasp sitting right below the choker.

She stumbled into the grass, and hugged it as she did. "Light!"

They stared at her. "....was it /that/ long?"
