"He's been following you, right? One of us can circle around when he's nearby and catch him off-guard. At least then we'll have the element of surprise." That is, if he even was, still. Apparently he'd come here before them. Babbling. Probably insane. And definitely unpredictable.

Terezi shrugged. "I haven't sensed him since he left after I bit him."
That empty feeling returned again. She was able to block it out until now, but something didn't seem right about this situation. Why wasn't he directly attacking her like he always did with his problems?
2015-04-18 06:10:44 -
🌀
"Oh. Then I guess we'll just have to wait for him." Not the best course of action, but the only one remaining, so they would just have to settle.

"I guess we do, but he could attack at any time." She looked down. "I'm surprised he hasn't even attacked yet."

"So we'll be prepared. Find some crucifixes, wooden stakes, and stuff. I don't know. We're out, so may as well get /something/." Wait, was that suggestion offensive? Was it possible to be racist towards vampires?
2015-04-18 06:17:11 -
●
Terezi raised an eyebrow. "Crucifixes? Stakes?" She couldn't help but laugh. "What, are you suggesting garlic and silver next?" Terezi thought for a moment. "Well, there is one way to protect us. Mostly you, though but....it's not exactly pretty, and it's only temporary."
2015-04-18 06:20:56 -
🌀
Hey, he got her to laugh. Accomplishment of the day. Besides, silver only worked against werewolves. Everybody knew that. He shrugged. "Whatever works. What is it?"

"Well.." She began. "You know how the woman in there said you smelt bad? That's my scent mixing with yours. And I guess 'wearing' some of my blood, if it's even considered mine at this point, on you can completely cover it. Any other vampire who gets near won't be able to stand the smell and will get the hint of 'fuck off'."
Yeah, not pretty.

He opened his mouth. Then closed it again. Then was finally able to speak. "I -- you -- I can't cut you!" Yes, /this/ was his concern. Not the prospect of wearing others' bodily fluids. Actually, the implications didn't even strike him yet. Also, he'd been concerned that the comment meant he had to take a shower. That was a comfort, at least.
2015-04-18 19:52:55 -
●
Terezi thought for a moment. That was his concern? Man, this guy was either really crazy or really desperate. "You don't have to cut me. I mean I could do it. Then once it's on, it stays on like a stain for three to five days before it fades off."
2015-04-18 19:58:42 -
🌀
Can we go with both? I mean, he has two little voices in his head that beat each other up on a regular basis. Of course, the other one's still unconscious. Man, that was an epic right hook.
But I digress.
"....I guess, but how will it help you?"
2015-04-18 20:03:35 -
●
"Because I can focus better on what to do next when I know that no vampire can harm you." She admitted. That was her main concern, right? Protect him and she can protect herself as well. One could say that her one weakness would be him.
2015-04-18 20:08:37 -
🌀
...can't argue with that. It just made him more frustrated, though. He was a liability, of no use except to the enemy. But she was right. "Yeah...that makes sense." Inward sigh. "Should we talk about this somewhere else, though?" They were still in the doorway to Lance's store. Not only were they blocking off customers, but it was relatively conspicuous, and their yelling match for one had drawn curious stares. Were they a young engaged couple, disagreeing on the dress? Too young for that, though. Just plain weird.

Terezi looked around them. Yeah, definitely need to not be outside for that. "Yeah, I think that's best." She answered. "We can go back to my place, or if you're still worried about Spyders, we can go to yours." It wasn't ideal for them to go to his, but she really didn't want to worry him anymore than he already was. There was the we stuff again too. What was with that?
2015-04-18 20:25:30 -
🌀
Don't ask me. I'm just the monologuing voice. I'm not shipping you two or anything. Cough.
Obviously he didn't intend to let her go back to her place, as he had made abundantly clear earlier in the conversation, so he quickly said "Mine." And before she had a chance to argue, he turned and began walking down the street in the direction of his building.

Shipping? More like signing the contract to sell their souls over to the OTP side of hell.
Without any hesitation, she followed him. "Yours it is." Yeah, she didn't want to go, but she wasn't going to get her way all the time. She knew that. Tassek always came first in her eyes. Though a part of her wondered why.
2015-04-18 20:39:04 -

That's right. In blood. I'm sure the seventh Satan will savor their adorkable 'romance'. Wait, do vampires even have souls?
Oh. Huh. She didn't even argue. That was a shock. He breathed on his hands and jammed them in his jacket pockets. It was still freezing out, and -- the letter was still there. He'd almost forgotten about it. That would be a problem he'd have to solve at some point...
It seemed like they'd gotten all the talking out of the way while they had been standing there. Also, he'd never been the best at conversation starters. So he walked in silence, thinking.

Yes. And Satan herself will scream 'I WILL GO DOWN WITH THIS SHIP. I WON'T PUT MY HANDS UP AND SURRENDER!' in agony while this roleplay pans out.
Terezi had fallen silent as while, lost in her own thoughts. Honestly, she was having some internal conflict. First of all, how the hell was Spyders even alive? Second, why did he ask if she had been there if he already knew where she lived?
Then there was her emotions. What was that emptiness she mildly felt? Did it have something to do with Spyders? She wasn't sure.

And then we will have Satan under our thumb, retrieving lost souls in exchange for not killing off half the pairing. But it's all a bluff. Because they're just too precious.
It seemed as if Cale had been /too/ quiet. Was he planning something with blue hair guy? No, that was silly. He'd helped take him down and save Terezi. But maybe he was like Terezi and couldn't disobey him. The logic surrounding this was beginning to fall apart. Was blonde guy okay? He'd looked pretty bad when they left. And then there was Lizzy, dammit, just kind of plopped in the middle of all this fantastical madness. He was more stressed about that than he had any right to be, especially in comparison with everything else.

But I'm already under your thumb.
Speaking of Cale, he was a bit too not being creepy for it to be normal. Did he finally decide to leave Terezi alone? Probably not. Maybe he just realized that he needed to focus on other things. Also, what about Zane? Last time she saw him, he had been bitten by Spyders. Was he okay? More than likely, yes. Though it was hard to say. She might have to visit him at work someday.
She glanced at Tassek, looks like he was thinking as well too. "Don't focus too much or you'll hurt yourself." She joked with a weak smile.

No, the seventh Satan. She's really into shipping. And what?
Technically none of this is spoken, anyway. Was that supposed to be a joke? He found it slightly offensive. It wasn't meant to be, though, he knew that. So he'd just leave it. "Not unless I walk into a telephone pole." Or fall asleep. Either was a possibility. He smiled back a little.

You come into my house bring the otp in on this, the day of my daughters wedding. That's what.
"Please don't do that." Terezi responded. "I'm only good at creating wounds, not mending them." Though it was true, you were more likely to be killed by a vampire than saved by one.
2015-04-18 21:30:16 -
🌀
That entire sentence was virtually incomprehensible. /What?/ Is Terezi your daughter now?
"I won't do it on purpose. Besides, I'd just get a bump on the head, probably." If that was the likelihood, then he really did have some kind of magical luck to beat the odds that many times.
2015-04-18 21:37:59 -
●
Probably.
"That's still something I won't be able to help you with." That was true though, he really did have some luck. "Then again, I've somehow managed to save your ass countless times."

Great. We're a big, happy, mental family. In more senses of the word than one.
Did she have to remind him? It was almost embarrassing at this point. "Not countless. Five." Yes. He'd been keeping track. Or, at least, he went back and counted them just now. He didn't have, like, a whiteboard where he made a new mark every time she saved him, or anything. No, seriously. He didn't. No sarcasm here. That would be creepy, and a little wasteful. To have a whiteboard just for that? He /did/, however, have one of those "# of days since last incident" flip calendars for when he fell asleep accidentally. It was almost constantly at 0. Why did he have that again?
