Terezi heard a knock on the door. By now, she didn't really need to guess who it was. She set her needle down and answered the door. "Hey" She greeted with a smile. Then she noticed the pinkness in his cheeks. "What happened to you? You look redder than a tomato."

"Well, um, so, you know how I, uh, tutor students at my college for cash?" He held out the bag of fabric, still not comfortable with inviting himself in.

"Yeah, what about it?" She took the bag and moved to the side for him to come in. Did she have to kick some ass?

He stepped inside and held out the now slightly crumpled envelope. "One of them...um, she g-gave me this," he stuttered. "What do I...what do I do with it?"

/Dear Tassek,
I was wondering if you would be interested in being my boyfriend. I'm not really asking this as a hypothetical question, which is how you'll probably interpret it, but in a "Hold my hand you idiot" sense. In case you haven't noticed, which is more than likely true, I've been spending an unnecessary amount of time at your science lessons. There are a lot of things you haven't noticed, like how unhealthy the time of night you leave the library is, how completely kawaii you are when you're asleep, and the fact that I've been after you for about a month now. It's kind of cute, actually, just how oblivious you are. I just wish you weren't so much to the important things. Like eating.
The whole point of all my effort is to get you to figure something out on your own for once, like how out of your league I am, and just take the fucking opportunity while you still can, you baka.
I promise I'll be the perfect girlfriend. When you realize you can't live without me, you can call me here~/

Terezi carefully took the envelope, taking a moment to read the letter. Once she finished, she handed the envelope and the piece of paper back to him. "Well, have you given her an answer yet?"
Obviously this girl didn't know how to directly ask someone, but hey, what did she know.
2015-04-17 04:36:19 -
🌀
He shook his head. What would he even answer? "It seems like she's expecting me to answer yes, so I don't know if she'll be in denial if I say no...?"
2015-04-17 04:37:46 -
●
"Well, what do you want to do?" Terezi asked as she folded her arms. "Do you want to say yes, because I'm sure if you say no, she'll hopefully get the hint."
2015-04-17 04:40:05 -
🌀
He doubted it. She was very stubborn, at least from what he'd seen. "I...I don't really know. I mean, she's nice...and it's not like I'll get a chance like this again." His first girlfriend. And considering how few people he met on a regular basis, possibly his last. What did he think about that?
2015-04-17 04:42:49 -
●
Terezi raised an eyebrow. "What do you mean 'you won't get this chance again'?" She asked. "Please don't tell me that you actually think you can't get someone to like you." Honestly, where did he get things like that? Yeah, he was a bit introverted, but he was very attractive for someone his age. Yeah. Physically attractive. Nothing terrible about pointing out how pretty a friend looks. Right?
2015-04-17 04:47:08 -
🌀
Right, Terezi. You just let yourself believe that. Admittedly, he is kind of pretty.
He ducked his head sheepishly. It was a reasonable assumption. "Well, it's true. She doesn't even know me that well, just from lessons, I'm sure she would feel much differently otherwise. It seems like she's already found quite a few of my flaws..." And yet she was still after him. That counted for something, I guess.
2015-04-17 04:56:03 -
●
Flaws? What flaws? Oh yeah, humans were supposed to have those.
"Okay first of all, it'd probably be safe to answer soon, since she'll just keep bugging you about it until you give her one." She looked him in the eyes now. "Second of all, stop beating yourself up. Hell, I'm surprised you even came to me. If I hadn't known better I would of though you had tons of girls asking you out."
Fuck, she said that out loud didn't she?
2015-04-17 05:05:31 -
🌀
He turned even redder, if that was possible. "Uh.....th-thanks?" What? Did he seem like the kind of person who would be attractive? That couldn't be right. Maybe he'd misunderstood. But she seemed serious. "....I don't, but, why....t-true. But I don't know what to say." He decided to just move the conversation along instead of dwelling on that. Even though it was all he could think about now.

Great job, add making more of a fool of yourself to your list. Also the empty feeling. What was that about? She placed a reassuring hand on his shoulder. "Don't think much about it." She informed him. "From what I've been told, just go with your gut."
2015-04-17 05:41:55 -
🌀
His gut was just as indecisive and confused as he was. This advice was not helping. "Um...okay." She was right, though. He had another tutoring session with Lizzy the next week, and if he didn't answer her by then it'd be weird. His flush slowly faded.
2015-04-18 01:15:23 -

Terezi then thought for a moment. Oh, yes! He could surely help. "You know, I'm probably the last person on this earth that should be helping you with this." Terezi informed him. "But, I do know someone who can help you. Would you like to meet them?"
2015-04-18 01:25:03 -
🌀
Terezi knew other people? Why was that such a surprise? He shrugged. "I guess. They wouldn't happen to be in this room already, would they?" He really didn't feel like wandering all over NY any more. He'd done enough of that in the last few weeks.
2015-04-18 01:28:03 -
●
Terezi shook her head. "No, but they are closeby." She moved to the door. "Just follow me. I'm sure they want to meet you anyway."
2015-04-18 01:31:21 -
🌀
Oh. Well, that wasn't creepy at all. "...alright? I seriously doubt he'll be overly interested in helping me with my problem, though." He followed her. Did he live in the same building? That would kind of make sense.
2015-04-18 01:34:47 -
●
"Trust me, he'll be interested." Terezi opened her door and stepped outside. Once Tassek followed, she closed the door and led him out of her building and down the road. Once they reached a wedding dress shop, she opened the door and held it open till Tassek entered.
"He's in here." She informed him. Well, the was him and...another vampire? Hm, she'll find out more about that in second probably.

Chivalry is hanging by its ankles. Oh, so this was where she sold those dresses to, he guessed. It was a nice place. He wondered how many of the outfits on display had been handmade by Terezi.
In any case, a guy who worked in a wedding boutique /had/ to know something about romance. It was almost required. Right there in the job description: 'must have had at least one long-term girlfriend'.

When Terezi entered behind him, she immediately noticed someone who wasn't the male's great niece leaning onto the counter. She assumed this was the other vampire then.
The girl with procelain skin looked up from a book and stared at them. She brushed one side of her ebony black hair out of her forest green eyes. It was noted that this woman was just a tad bit shorter than Terezi, and dressed in all black. Was she mourning or something? Though her makeup didn't say that she was. Especially the brightly red colored lipstick.
The girl inhaled deeply before speaking. "You're a vampire, and you smell like a human, You must be Terezi, then." She shut her book. Her gaze went to Tassek. "And he must be the human you hang out with so much."
2015-04-18 02:06:25 -
🌀
First off, it was almost abnormal how many people he was meeting who were shorter than him. Second off, hold the bloody phone. Another vampire? /Another?/ And didn't she say they were going to meet a GUY? Unless he was missing something, this was going to be a very awkward interaction. "Well, 'the human' is standing right here and would prefer if you didn't talk about him as if he's not. I mean me. I'm." What? Would you prefer to Russian, Tassek? Because you're obviously having issues with Englishing. Obviously I have no right to talk. "Do you work here?"
2015-04-18 02:12:51 -
●
"Yes I totally work here and really are genuinely interested in meeting new people." the woman sarcastically said without even moving her gaze off the boy.
"Ivory, you don't have to be a dick to every new person you meet." A male appeared in the stairway leading to an upstairs part of the shop. "At least try to seem like you're the kind person I know you are."
The girl straightened herself from the counter. Hey look at that, she actually wasn't just all tits. "Me? Nice? Those two words aren't even legal enough the be in a sentence."
There was a bit of silence between the two of them while they stared intently at each other. ."Don't argue with me in my own mind, you're just trying to win at that point." Lance finally spoke up. "There's no one here. You can read inthe dressing rooms or something."
Ivory sighed. "Fine." She gripped the counter and hoisted herself over it. Obviously this woman didn't like the easy way of doing things.
The just as pale slender male stepped forward and ran a hand through his just as dark male. Though his looked more dyed than anything. "I'm so sorry about that. She does have a soft side to her, but she doesn't like to show it that much." He set his hand down on the counter. Surely he could of just picked the woman up by the waist and carried her over there if he really needed to, he was that tall. He looked at the male.
"You must be Tassek. Terezi nonstop talks about you. I'm Lance." He gave Tassek a warm smile. "Now what brings you two here, since I could of sworn Terezi has dresses sewn to her hands at all times."

Haha, uh, what? All...right... He smiled back nervously. "Well, that's...flattering...um, well, she said you could help me with a problem. Specifically, a girl problem."
