Madison had taken to finding solace in the bottle of wine he'd confiscated from the couple several days ago. He felt all wrong, numb, jumpier, and little things kept reminding him of the suffering he'd had to relive recently. The alcohol made him forget again. He hadn't been sleeping either, he was well aware that the second he woke up it would all repeat itself. He sat on the back porch watching it rain with the bottle in his lap.

Ivory stepped out onto the porch, looking at Madison for a moment. She knew vey well what Madison was trying to do, and honestly at this point she couldn't blame him. She placed a hand on his shoulder. "I think you've had enough." She spoke as she took the bottle away.
