Seculus just wanted to make everyone happy. And he could do that now, if he tried....right? That night, he went looking for Madison in Calistor for once, instead of holing up in his room. He had a short conversation with him before simply reaching out and grabbing his head. A bit of frost spread out over his blonde hair and he slumped to the ground. Not unconscious, as usual, but just lying still, eyes open and vacant. Seculus sat down beside him until they both woke up naturally. He wasn't going to cause him any more pain by smacking his head in....

The night after that, Madison sat on the steps of the castle, gazing off at the trees. He'd been doing this for a while....quite a bit longer than most people would spend watching inanimate objects.

Ivory awoke in a study, and wondered through the castle halls. Ever since Tassek was at her house, Seculus had been acting very odd. Maybe she could talk to him.

That is, until Ivory saw Madison on the steps. She sat down next to him. He seemed...off. "Hey."
