They snapped. "Look, I try, okay?! But she's on the same level as me, I can't control her, I can only try to fix what she did! Do you know how /stressful/ it is, trying to keep the whole world's morals in check along with balancing where every single soul ends up /and/ keeping an eye on your friends to make sure nothing happens that shouldn't? I'm omniscient, but not actually, and there isn't enough time in the day! Or any day, really! And I'm not allowed a break. /Ever/. You try that, see how quickly you can go without breaking down, that I'm still calm and stable is a MIRACLE!" They'd taken their hand off Seculus and were waving both around. They stopped and lowered them, closing their eyes again and taking a deep breath.

About two hours or so later, they lifted their hand off of Seculus. He'd fallen asleep somewhere in the process, and they jostled his shoulder gently to wake him up. He lifted his head and blinked sleepily. His shoulders were slumped, not as tense and sore as they had been. He felt....drained. "...how do you feel?" He shrugged a little.
