Before he could, Seculus appeared in the stairwell, noticing the others leaving and giving them as wide a berth as he could. Tassek tried not to look at him, but opened the door again. They didn't say anything. Once he was inside, the smaller boy closed the door again.

Tassek sat on the couch with his homework spread around him. Hey, he had to do it sometime, right? Seculus was probably off cleaning something. Honestly, what was with that guy and cleanliness? Most of the stuff didn't even need the scrubbing down. Maybe it was just something to do. It definitely kept him out of Tassek's way.

Terezi's attention turned from Anndrea, who she was still talking to, to the door. A vampire? Now who would this be?
