More pedestrians screamed and a few pulled out their phones to take video. Zane and Tassek caught up, but Zane caught a glimpse of Spyders and pushed Tassek behind himself, out of sight. Cale glared, growling. "She didn't have to tell me anything. I could smell the shit you were up to from miles away." Okay, so maybe that wasn't the best taunt, but considering the short notice, not half-bad. "Leave her the hell alone."

A smile spread across his face. "No." He simply answered. "In fact, she broke a little deal we had. So, I must attend to her first, before I work on you." He turned and walked towards the building as his hand dug into his jacket pocket as he grabbed a small switchblade he was carrying on him at the moment. He stopped at the door. "By the way." He turned to the other male. "She hasn't fed for a while, so she only brought this upon herself." He stepped into the building.

Cale let out a strangled yell and chased after him but was stopped in the lobby by the landlady. Zane and Tassek managed to escape her wrath, both keeping just a few steps behind Spyders. Well, Tassek tried, anyway, but it's hard to keep up with two people a foot taller than you on stairs. Panting, he just barely managed to keep them in sight. Eventually Cale pushed past the landlady and began coming up after them. All of them were thinking the same thing: Terezi had stopped feeding? That couldn't end well for anyone.

Terezi felt him move. He was coming. Fuck he was coming. And...another one? Cale. That meant that- Oh shit. Terezi, still blurry eyed from her crying spell, scrambled to her feet. She had to hide. She had to-

"Terezi~!" Spyders called as he opened the door to the apartment. "Now what did I tell you last time?"

Zane appeared in the doorway behind him and grabbed his wrists, keeping the knife away from him. Tassek leaned against the wall just outside, gasping for breath. "I-I....I got help. I'm...sorry..."

Spyders fought against the taller man's hold. "Let me go." He struggled against Zane, turning anyway he could.

Terezi backed up. Two humans. The smell was inviting. "Just stay away from me,please." She begged.

Now that the situation was clear, Tassek understood why she'd been so desperate for him to leave earlier. It made him a little giddy...or maybe that was just the lack of oxygen. He nodded before passing out on the floor.

Zane didn't say anything. He only tightened his grip, leaving new bruises on his upper arms. Cale arrived at the top of the stairs and looked in at Terezi. "Rezi! It's okay, we've got him." Then he saw Tassek. "Ah, dammit. Your human's a pain."

Spyders slammed Zane into a wall by throwing himself against it as well. "I'll fucking kill you! You bitch!" He cried out to his servant.

Terezi gripped the wall by her, trembling. This was too much her. Fuck. This was all her fault. She should of just ignored Tassek. Maybe things would of been better that way.

He grunted with pain and Cale gave him a worried glance before dragging Tassek out of the way and going to help Terezi up. "Come on, we'll get you out of here."

"Oh, fuck this." Spyders snapped before he pulled Zane's arm forward and bit down on it. Hard.

For once, she took Cale's arm. In this situation, no one else could really help her but him. Even if she didn't want to admit it.

Then she smelt blood. A human's blood. Her nails dug into Cale's hand. Oh fuck. Oh fuck. She was going to loose it right here.

Zane yelped and tried to pull him off before his eyes began glazing over. His grip slackened along with his expression. Cale yelled and wanted to tackle Spyders to the ground so he could rip his face off, but he had to get Terezi out of there. He pulled her out of the room and past Tassek, who was blinking blearily and trying to climb to his feet.

Of course, Zane wasn't his real target. No, he was later. Not now. He pulled himself off Zane, and immediately let go of Zane's arm before making his way towards Terezi. That was one skill had mastered over the years, letting the fuck go of a human.

Terezi followed behind Cale as quick as she could. That is, before Spyders caught up to them and tackled her down.

Cale was almost dragged down with her, but hissed and began trying to pull him off. "Leave us all the fuck alone, you goddamn neon pest!" Tassek stumbled to his feet to see the man dash past him and followed to find him on the ground on top of Terezi. In an action he would never normally perform if fully lucid, he kicked him in the ribs. "Get the hell off of her before I take that vonderfully colorful hair of yours and stick it in a garbage disposal."

He clung to her. "No." Spyders stared into Terezi's eyes. "If I leave, it's with you." He felt a pain in his ribs, and made him grip her harder. There was no way she was escaping him now.

She had no choice now. She had to fight with what little strength she had left in her. She let out a saddened cry before digging her fangs straight into Spyders neck.

If there was one thing a servant wasn't supposed to do, it was bite their master. Spyders cried out in pain as he pulled away from her, gripping his neck.

Cale stared in absolute shock while part of his mind cheered wildly. Tassek didn't understand the implications, of course, and took the opportunity to kick him again, eyes half-closed.

Spyders yelp like a wounded animal. He stood up and immediately made a break for the nearby window, crashing through it. A trail of darkened blood, almost a blackish color, followed behind him as he moved out.

Terezi let out a gasping cough. Oh god, this was a bad idea. Her mouth and throat burned. Terezi gripped Cale's hand as she was still somehow holding onto it. She was going to die here, wasn't she?

That same part of Cale's mind was still cheering emphatically at the fact that Terezi was /holding his hand thank God for small miracles/. The rest of him, however, was terrified for her. "What did you do?! Terezi, we have to get you a meal, /now/." Tassek's head cleared at the urgency in Cale's voice and he stared at the dark blood both on the floor and around her mouth. "...what? Did she just...?" Cale began waving his free arm for emphasis. "She fucking bit him! They need to feed soon or they'll die!" Then he blinked at Tassek as if seeing him for the first time, grabbing at his leg from where he sat alongside Terezi on the ground. "You. You can give her some blood, right? It doesn't have to be much, just, please, save her..." Tassek stumbled away, freeing his leg. He wanted to help, he really did, with every particle of his being...but he was scared. He was always /so goddamn scared/. Useless. Incompetent coward. Skirting Cale's desperate grasps, he knelt beside Terezi as Zane lurched out of her apartment, blood dripping from his arm. Fighting the little voice, Cale let go of Terezi to stand and run over to Zane, grabbing his arm in both hands and pulling the bandages covering the bite marks away from his neck for a more pertinent use at the bleeding wound.

Terezi backed up from the Tassek. No, she wasn't going to bite him. She'd rather die. She leaned over and coughed more. The same blackish blood emerged from her thoat and she coughed it up onto the floor. Attractive, right? She couldn't speak, but if she could she'd be screaming at Cale to find someone else other than these too.

"Terezi, please....you're going to die..." His voice cracked and he rubbed at his eyes. "...I want to do this. You're the only person....w-who's ever really stuck with me...." He looked at her with tears fogging up his glasses. "I don't want you to go..." All of a sudden he sounded like a little kid sitting by himself on the swingset while everyone else played soccer or jumprope, watching longingly and wishing someone would ask him to join in. A little boy who fell asleep when he laughed, leaving whoever he was talking with to uncomfortably walk away before he woke up alone. Who just wanted a friend.

He nodded, wiping at his face, and leaned towards her, brushing his hair aside and out of his bright green eyes. He had to bite his tongue to keep from passing out of mixed desperation and terror, but at the same time there was an eerie calm, seeming to emanate from her cold hand.

She leaned towards him as well, stopping once her mouth were only a few centimeters from his neck. You could do this Terezi. You could do this. Only little bite, that's all you need. Slowly and carefully, she bit down, her fangs sinking into his neck.

He stifled a whimpering noise but didn't move. His mind fogged over, but not as much as when Cale had bit him. Instead, it felt almost peaceful. He was very aware of what was happening, just...detached. His eyes half-closed.
