He showed him the bottle smiling, "now, if you tell me your name, I'll give you the food" he said gently. All he needed to hear was 'jake' and he would be happy.

He sat up a little as Dirk left, hoping he'd come back and feed him. He squirmed biting his cheek. Should he just give in? For a little while at least?
